Interview with Thatcher & Christmas

It's been awhile since I "interviewed" Thatcher.  He loves to see himself on camera, and I love having his little thoughts and voice documented!  He talks so cute without his two front teeth!

We had a wonderful Christmas with both of our families.  We also were able to spend time a lot of time with friends. We love our time with both and feel very blessed to have so many amazing people in our lives....that we cherish and love... and who cherish and love us back!

Wishing you a year full of blessings, joy, smiles, prosperity, good health, and so much more!

On Christmas Eve, we go to the candlelight service at church. For the past several years, we have spent time with close friends after the service. It's become a sweet "tradition" for us.  We used to find a place to eat, but that is getting harder!  This year, they came to our house and we just talked and laughed for awhile. We love their kids and they love ours.  It's neat to have friends that you cherish as much as family.

We get the kids get new pajamas for Christmas Eve.  They each get to open one small gift. We sprinkle reindeer food out on the lawn..... Santa gets cookies, so this is a little treat for them!  It's also sparkly and shows them the way to our house. We write a letter for Santa, to put with cookies and milk. Then it's off to bed... to dream about what the morning will bring.

We used to have to wake Spencer up on Christmas morning! I always thought that was funny.  My siblings and I were always up around 5 am!  We were allowed to go get our stocking, until my parents got up later.  I LOVE stockings!  They always hold special little treats!  Thatcher woke us up around 7:30 am.... that's pretty good for a 4 year old!  I bet we don't get to sleep in as long, next year!

The stockings are filled and gifts from Santa are here on Christmas morning!

I love this picture... even though Gunar looks very frustrated!

He did it! Addy was more interested in the box!

Thatcher was surprised to get this cool Lego table.  It also has a train track, for all his Thomas the Trains and a side for Hot Wheels too! It IS awesome!

Spencer was surprised as well, when he opened a computer!

All of our sweet Nieces and Nephews at my parents house, later that day.
There are 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. It's getting harder to get a good picture of all of them!  They are wiggly and make the pictures blurry! They were impatient to open gifts!

Happy New Year!

I hope your week is full of smiles!
